haii hope youre having a good day!! but im gonna yap a bit ok? genuine question, but (how) can you identify as a boy and be a lesbian? it says that under the lesboy flag you put in your pronouns cc, i understand the term sapphic is mostly used for wlw's now but im stpid ive been trying to understand this for months.. is a sapphic that uses he him / they them pronouns considered a lesboy? as an agender lesboy you use he it pronouns and are attracted to non men? soooo as long as you arent a cisgender man that is attracted to non men/women specifically you can identify as a lesbian? First, I want to say thank you for being so respectful about this! ^_^ To answer your question: I just prefer to use the term boy instead of girl and I identify more with boyhood while also being agender due to the lack of gender I feel a majority of the time. I'd look into 'https://queerdom.fandom.com/wiki/Lesboy' and just go over everything there, especially resources! I wouldn't reallyyy include a sapphic in the lesboy label as the term is 'lesbian boy' and lesbian and sapphic are different from each other, but there is a sapphic equivalent called saphboy for what you've described. Using He/Him or They/Them doesn't automatically make a person a lesboy or a saphboy. It's more about the person then anything If they don't want to use the term but still use they/them & he/him and identify with being a boy then that's that. If they do want to use the term and everything you said applies then, yes, they would be considered a lesboy or saphboy. If you're not a full-on cisgender-man I don't see the issue with identifying as a lesbian. People have gotten wayyy too comfortable policing other people about their identity when they know nothing about the person, or how they feel about their gender. A lot of people see gender as this black and white concept but it's far more complex then that. I don't think you're stupid for just wanting to understand, I hope you have a good day take care as well ^_^
